During the morning of November 7, 2018, Laboratorios Ovejero has celebrated a double institutional act to celebrate its 70th birthday.
The celebration, which began with a visit by the authorities to the laboratory facilities, concluded with an event at the Hotel Conde Luna de León, where the company presented to institutional representatives its new commitment to innovation at the service of One Health or unique health: The program Piroa Lactis Tool, a Big Data tool that helps improve biosecurity, as well as supporting veterinarians to reduce and optimize the use of antibiotics in livestock.
During these events, the company has been sheltered with the presence of relevant personalities such as:
Don Juan Vicente Herrera, President of the government of Castilla and León.
Doña Pilar del Olmo, Consejera of Economy and Finance of the government of Castilla and León.
Don Juan Martínez Majo, President of the Diputación de León.

And Don Juan Francisco García Marín, Rector of the University of León.
During the event at the Hotel Conde Luna, an interesting presentation on the problem of antibiotic resistance was given by Mr. Bruno González Zorn, Professor at the UCM in Madrid, and world expert in the field.
